Travel and hotel information

Getting to/from Maastricht

Maastricht does have a small airport, but no direct flight connections to most cities. The easiest option, therefore, is to fly to Brussels or to Amsterdam and take a train from there. From Brussels it is approx. 1.5 hours by train and from Amsterdam around 2.5 hours.

For those arriving by train from abroad, Maastricht station is only half an hour away from Liège-Guillemins station in Belgium. From here you can take InterCity or Thalys trains to Brussels or to Aachen in Germany.

Hotel

The workshop organizers have made preliminary reservations for single and double rooms at the Hotel Les Charmes as well as the Hotel Au Quartier. Please let José Cornips (j.cornips at maastrichtuniversity.nl) know if you want to use this reservation.

Naturally, you are also free to organize your own accommodation. Click here for the tourist agency website.
